Personal Journal #4 - My Personal Land Ethic

Earlier today I went to my community park by myself to take some time to relax from my busy schedule. Before taking University Colloquium I did not think I would learn very much, but I have learned so much. I now see myself look at the environment in a different way. I thoroughly enjoy going outside to look at nature because I can now name different foliage and understand different aspects of nature. I also see myself trying to make changes to better the environment; I have been thinking about what could be done to conserve our environment. It is important to me now to continue to preserve the earth, so my children and their children will continue to enjoy everything it has to offer. I will continue to educate people on the environment and different ways they can help to preserve it. I will also continue to recycle, and I will make sure my friends and family also take part in recycling.
